Phil Naro is a Daytime Emmy award-winning performer, and, Internationally acclaimed composer, performer, singer, guitar player, songwriter and producer, well known for his powerful voice and his tremendous four octave range. Naro composed and sings the title theme to the animated series,'6Teen'. '6Teen' won a Daytime Emmy award for best original song-main title theme on August 30th, 2009! And in March he is coming to DYT to work with DYT Rockstars and Rock Crew!

It is week 3 here of our winter session at DYT. The singers are mapping out what they will be singing at this semesters 70's show....our actors are researching historical events of the decade, learning about watergate, elvis's death and the master piece called Star Wars.....our scriptwriters are hard at work finishing their one act plays and getting them ready for the auditions in february and the festival in June...whew...we are BUUUSSSYYYY!
Stay tuned for show info....its going to be a killer show on April 10th!
In March DYT will be welcoming Phil Naro to our rock vocal troupe rehearsals.....Phil is an accomplished musician and vocalist. He has a four octave vocal range and recently won a daytime emmy for writing and composing the theme song for the television show, "6teen". We do our best to provide your children with the best equiptment and instructors her at DYT, and we've done it again.....
This week students at DYT will be getting ready to do their auditions at arts highschools throughout the GTA.....all of us here at DYT (Kristine, Marco, Amanda, Enzo, Alex F, Alex Y, Annie, Rhiannon & Erich) would like to wish them all to "Break a Leg!" on their auditions this week! You all have worked very hard! Show em what you've got!
