DYT Rockstars History & Future

2008 marked the year of the rockers!
DYT's vocal program is different than most in Brampton. Our students are exposed to the classic rock, blues, country and pop rock that span over several decades. We provide a full band sound, And the supreme electric guitar styling’s of Enzo Lapadula, DYT Rockstars and The Rock Crew along side brilliant musician and songwriter Enzo Lapadula. Our students are encouraged to step out of their comfort zone and try new music, new vocals, and new ways of performance strategy. Our DYT Rockstar Troupe performed at each of The Actors Studio’s end of semester cabaret style productions, and they began The DYT Concert Series by performing at Hugh’s Room concert venue in Toronto.
Students are encouraged to step out of their comfort zone and experience new music and new performance strategy. DYT Director Kristine Marchese manages the group, and provides the students with special guests performers, entertainers and musicians to come to rehearsals throughout the year to aid the students in receiving different direction and opinion on how to grow in this crazy entertainment business.
This little idea began in September 2007 upon opening DYT Performance Studio and has grown to become one of the most sought after programs in the GTA.
We pride ourselves on providing the students with the most authentic concert experience and the DYT ROCKSTARS will be performing at several venues throughout the GTA beginning September 2009.

*DYT Rockstars ~ $600 for full year, plus additional costs for recording, etc.

**Please Note*** - it will be mandatory in 2009-10 season for all members of both Rockstars and Rock Crew, who DO NOT have music theory and harmony training to take the class provided on Tuesday nights. Please see Vocal/Piano section for details.
