Scriptwriting 101
Have you ever wanted to write your own comedic scene, scribe your own one act play, or create the next Oscar nominated motion picture? Then DYT has the class for you! Students will spend the year learning scriptwriting technique, format and creating amazing scenes, monologues and completing a one act play. If you have a bunch of crazy story ideas in your head, come on down and learn how to put them on paper and create an imaginative masterpiece with actor/writer/director Kristine Marchese.

*Scriptwriting 101, Ages 10 - 18 Tuesday, 6:00 - 7:00 pm, $555 for full year or $185 per semester, FULL YEAR COMMITMENT
*Private Scriptwriting Lessons for Adults, Dates TBD with instructor, 1 hour lessons, $350 per semester.

Directing 101
In 2008, DYT created several directors out of their students. This new and diverse program allows students to experience directing scenes, an assortment of scripts, casting, production design and vision, ultimately building to directing their own one act plays in June 2010. Students are encouraged to shine as we help to develop the next Scorcese or Coppola! Instructor Kristine Marchese, director of the hit drama "A Complex Verdict" will help students find their directing style, enhance technique, and learn how to create a directors ultimate vision.
