Thugs History

In September 2007, DYT launched its first ever improv/sketch troupe called The Hooligans. Since their creation, The Hooligans have gone on to perform at The Rose Theatre, Lorraine Kimsa Theatre for Young People and the acclaimed Second City. The Thugs were created in September 2008, acting as the place for the up and coming improv stars tomake their debut and train to become one of our elite Hooligans in coming years. The Thugs held their own improv set at The Peel Heritage Complex in January 2009, and opened for The Hooligans at The Second City in Toronto on March 7th 2009.
The troupe rehearses once a week, and it is an intense rehearsal process, but will prove to be fun for all involved.
